On what could only be described as one of the wettest days in August I have ever seen, I set out to see the local Bromley boys play the Purple Turtle.

 Now I have known Linchpin for quite some time, having even played with them back in the good ol' days. But they have been hard at work in the past few months, building up a new sound and recording new material. This date was part of an on going tour around the country, and it's always good fun to see them play. The songs keep getting better and better, with some beautifully simple riffs with really imaginative drum parts. Top it all off with some delicious 3 part harmonies and you have got some catchy stuff. Catch them if you can somewhere along the line.

Summer dates are always difficult to fill, with so many people away on holiday and what not, and the bad weather makes even less people come along, which is a real shame as there was some great music on tonight.
