In Gratitude - 3-track Demo
It’s rare that I listen to a brand new band’s demos and am completely blown away by what I hear. That’s exactly what happened when I first listened to the 3-track demo from In Gratitude and now they have made a regular appearance in my every day playlist.
‘Moving On’ is a track that combines ambient guitar melodies, soft vocals and gang vocals to create a track which conjures an image of a more indie-pop version of Jimmy Eat World or Arcade Fire. The band have just shot a music video for this song which they’ll be releasing as a single in April, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
‘All in Dishonesty’ and ‘Prosperity’ follow suit with more enchanting guitar work and groove-laden bass-lines, whilst the entire time lead singer Matthew guides us with his soft, yet forceful voice.
I expect more good things to come from this band, so let’s see what the coming months bring.
